Ayezan & Matt – Spicers Clovelly Estate Wedding

Ayezan and Matt were married at Spicers Clovelly Estate in Montville on the Sunshine Coast by Marriage Celebrant, Merlin Coughlan. A beautiful garden ceremony shared with close family and friends. Just 20 minutes of photography on location at Spicers for the Bride & Groom to allow plenty of time to celebrate with guests. A reception followed at The Long Apron, Spicers Clovelly Estate’s award winning restaurant.

Such a perfect Autumn afternoon for Ayezan and Matt and it was a pleasure to meet you both and share your wedding day – Congratulations!

Sunset Session in the Paddock – Kingaroy Family Portraits

I recently travelled to Kingaroy to catch up with my little sister and her lovely family. Long overdue for family portraits, we also arranged a sunset session in the paddock where they keep their horses.

There are 4 girls in this family so it seems Michael (Dad) just had to ‘go with it’ – tutus, flowers and cowgirl boots were essential items for our shoot. The girl’s Grandma & Grandad also joined us, so we could capture the extended family together.

Wedding of Kathryn & Lance – Sunshine Coast Wedding Photography

I met Kathryn & her sister, Bec earlier this year at a Wedding Expo and after telling me “you are the nicest one here” booked me to photograph the Wedding disguised as an engagement party. I was intrigued to hear all about it as I love surprises!

As the surprise ceremony was scheduled for sunset we decided to have a little location session at Pt Cartwright before the ceremony (making sure to avoid any friends that might be surfing or walking around the headland). A quick change for Kathryn and the couple greeted guests to their Engagement Party at ‘One’ on La Balsa.  30 minutes later Kathryn changed back into her gorgeous Anna Campbell dress and was walked into the ceremony by her father to the surprise of all the guests – even the Groom’s parents! A beautiful ceremony by Darienne Davis and a great party to follow.

Here are a few photos from their location shoot together.

Congratulations Kathryn & Lance!

A little note received from Kathryn this morning:

Good morning Tanya,

Thank you – once again!!!  Really – THANK YOU!!!!!

I am so glad that Bec and I picked you as the ‘nicest person’ at the expo!  And more importantly, that we had you there to capture the moments and memories of our ‘engagement party’!

Your photography is a true testament to your passion for the ‘job’!  And I will be sure to be in contact for any future shoots that we may need, and of course will highly recommend you to anyone looking for a photographer.

Kathryn.

McMahon Family Portraits at Yandina Station

I love photographing families and more importantly capturing the personalities of each happy little heart that make a family special. I photographed the McMahon Family at Yandina Station on a glorious Autumn afternoon filled with sunshine, love and gumboots! Pure joy & happiness in each and every frame. So many gorgeous memories for this growing family.

As a photographer and mother my advice is “photograph your family while they still hold your hand as all too soon they will one day hold another – the next generation”.

Enjoy

You may hold my hand for now but you hold my heart forever… Unknown
